1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible Purchased in 2015 at Barret-Jackson in Scottsdale. It was from the personal collection of Jim Mattison who is the owner of PHS (Pontiac Historical Service). It comes with all of the PHS documents with build sheets and window sticker. It had a body off restoration before I acquired it. The frame is powder coated. The 400 cubic inch engine runs great and the TH400 transmission shifts smoothly as it should. The shifts are controlled by the Hurst His and Hers shifter. It has a 12 bolt rear end with 2.78:1 gear ratio. (Great for highway cruising). It is equipped with factory power disc brakes with 4-piston calipers with drum rear brakes. It also has power steering. For the hot summers it has the rare factory air conditioning. The hydraulic top works perfectly and there is a brand new top boot for use when the top is down. The paint is the factory Regimental Red with black pin stripes. All the chrome is nice and was redone during the restoration. It has the original black bucket seats, back seats and door panels. The carpet is new. The dash pad is perfect as the original wood grain. All the gauges as well as the original AM radio work as they should. The trunk is fully detailed with trunk mat and spare tire cover. The wheels are Rally II with new BFG Redline radials. With the radials it drives great compared to bias ply tires. This is a beautiful muscle car. It has won many awards at shows in the Northwest. It was was awarded the Best GTO at the Good-Guys Rod and Custom Association meet in Spokane 2 years ago. Summer is coming and this is a great car to enjoy it. Questions please call Tim. 509-926-1429 |
