Relisted because buyer backed out minutes after auction ended. If you don’t have the money don’t bid. 1971 Chevrolet Corvette LT-1. This was a barn find car. Appears to be a “no hit” body, car is very straight. When I bought the car it was non running as it was in storage for 30 years. Since then I rebuilt carb, new points and plugs, changed oil and filter. New battery. New calipers and brake pads. New master cylinder. Car fired right up and runs fine. Oil pressure is great. Car will need new tires as it sat on these flat for years and they are out of round not to mention old. Car was painted funky 70’s color scheme back in early 70’s. Kinda cool and has held up well. Original color was War Bonnett Yellow. Original numbers match LT1 VIN 19437S100432 which makes this probably one of the first LT1’s in 71. Engine pad V0810CGZ. Frame is solid with no rot. This would be a cool car to leave as is and enjoy or an excellent candidate for restoration. |
