| This is an exceedingly rare find. This TR4A was purchased new in 1966 by Dr W. Cole, he drove it for two summers in 68-69 and then parked it in the family garage, there it sat for almost 50 years. The car now belongs to his daughter and is kept in Victoria, BC, Canada.The car was professionally refreshed in 2017 by Jetstream Auto for a cost of $30,000......there are very few non-original parts. The car needed refreshing as it was stored in a residential garage for so long and needed to be thoroughly reviewed, any parts that had eroded over time were replaced (i.e. some brake parts, the canvas convertible top and so on, but very few parts are not original). The work was done by a well know professional firm in Victoria and there is a CD and full details of all the work done. Most of the money spent was on labor to take the car apart and re-assemble after every part was examined. The frame was painted, new tires, new OEM convertible top, new gas tank....and not much else not original!The car has been appraised for over $52,000 Can. The car is insured with Haggerty.
