original 1974 chevrolet impala sedan. 350 /350 drive train that runs excellent! owner had car since 1992, lots of documentation/receipts. starts right up idles nice,runs drives and shifts as it should w no issues. was a los angeles car until 2008 when owner brought it to the pahrump nevada desert when he and his wife retired. he drove it every day in southern calif and drove it 3 tp 4 times a week here in the nevada desert to go to the store, get the mail and take his wife for coffee in the afternoons.had motor rebuilt 53 k miles ago its amazingly quiet and smooth as well as tight, no vibrations or rattles, has dual exhaust ,car was originally white he told me and the original owner had it painted blue at some point,and that he had it repainted blue again years ago. paint is single stage and could use a wax and rub as it has some surface scratches etc but not too bad at all. body is laser straight, floors,trunk rockers are rock solid w 0 rust!!! interior is faded and tired in spots,rear package tray could be re covered as sun got it, carpet is old and could use replacing. rear seat is different than front, i asked why that was, and he explained the original owner had a doberman he took everywhere so not sure what happend there. rear seat belt tore,headliner is in good shape,dash does have some cracks, needs dome light lens,driver window could use new felt and channel but overall not bad as you can see in pics.i also have the front bumper fillers but the are old and brittle see pics,she really needs a good bath!!! tires are a few years old but in good shape, all lights and gauges work as they should, has tilt, power steering and brakes, a/c is all there but will need to be charged/gone through. the owners drove the car over 150 miles to bring it me on a warm afternoon as i couldnt get out to them to pick her up, he said ill drive it to you no problem, and she had no issues at all, she truly is a great old car!!! the previous owner has documentation of everything he has done mechanically/service/replacement etc, he told me how he LOVED his impala and when you drive it you can tell by how it rides, handles etc.....i was VERY surprised how smooth it is. i have driven her to vegas,arizona, over the hoover dam and every time its a pleasure just floating down the road, this is a truly unmolested survivor that you can jump in and drive w no worries, not a perfect show car but a great piece of chevrolet history that will bring you plenty of driving enjoyment for years to come. i urge all interested parties to come see her and inspect her in person and see just how great she is, you will not be disappointed as i know i wasnt. the one thing he told me was that when he drove the car to me the speedometer is off 10mph, so at 70 he was really going 80 as his wife was yelling at him to slow down! car has a clean clear nevada title.i would drive this car anywhere right now and not have any second thoughts about it, thats how good she runs.this vehicle is being sold AS IS WHERE IS w NO warranty of any kind neither written or implied( please keep in mind that she is 46 years old).A NON REFUNDABLE 500.00 deposit is required, and it means JUST THAT, NON REFUNDABLE!!! so please get your wifes permission if need be and have your funds in order BEFORE you bid or make an offer to buy!!!!! if you hit buy now or make an offer that is accepted, you bought it, end of story, so please ask all questions and if you need more pics or information just send me a message through ebay and ill be happy to answer any and all questions and send all info you may need.all transportaion/shipping expenses and arrangements are the sole responsibility of the buyer, i will assist your shipper to make it smooth getting the car to you. car can stay here for a couple of weeks if you need time to arrange shipping etc.car and title will not be released until all funds have cleared my bank or i have cash in hand.THANK YOU for considering my auction
