1971 300 SEL 3.5 iconic sedans represented the pinnacle of Mercedes passenger car technology of the 1970’s. Reliable and durable, the 109 series cars will long be remembered for their classic upright styling and precision engineering. The W109 300 SEL 3.5 was lauded in many contemporary road tests as one of the fastest production car at the time. The factory, with a little help from the then fledgling AMG tuning facility, raced them in the European Touring Car series. This car is in stunning condition it runs and drives great, smooth, luxurious, powerful and a great investment. It has been fully restored new interior, rebuilt V8, all gauges, brakes with a binder full of receipts. This is one of only 9,483 produced total US and Germany, no rust, the chrome and stainless trim are near perfect shape.
