1967 Land Rover Series IIa 109 Station Wagon. This is #529 of 811 LHD vehicles that were made for the North American market. This is a Defender style tribute with a modern 4.0L fuel-injected Rover V8 and 4-speed automatic transmission. It has power steering, power brakes, electric radiator fan, roof rack, AM/FM stereo with CD player and a custom interior. It also features four-wheel disc brakes and a coil spring suspension. It does have an OBD-II connector for engine diagnostics. It had a body off restoration in 2012. that was done by an enthusiast and it took him two years to complete. Please note that it does not have a catalytic converter installed hence the o2 sensors are dangling freestyle. I had new outer tie rods, muffler and a tail-pipe installed.I consider this truck a driving project. Although it has modern components, it's still 50 years old. It will need exhaust work (manifold back to muffler) and probably new brakes. It drives pretty good and yes, you can get up to highway speeds without any issues. The rear seat hasn't been bolted into the floor yet and can be removed. The floors and frame are solid. This is a Canadian truck so there is surface rust on the under-body but no perforations or soft spots. Extras include shop manuals and boxes of spare parts.I will ship worldwide. Buyer is responsible for shipping charges. |
