CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
1964 PontiacGTOI have ownedthis beautiful vehicle for approximately 4 years. This car was previously owned by my uncle. At the time, I wasn’t expecting to purchasethis car. I was originally looking toown his 1967 Chevelle. I always lovedthe Chevelle and chased my uncle for years to buy the car from him. My uncle and aunt enjoyed many car shows andmade many memories with the Chevelle and the GTO. Some years back, my aunt passed away and myuncle’s broken heart was no longer in his cars. He decided it was time to start selling hisvehicles. He offered me the Chevelle, whichI was happy to purchase. About a year later, he was ready to sell hisGTO. This car was just to pretty for meto pass up. And that is how I became theowner of the Chevelle and the GTO. The 1964 GTOwas owned by my uncle for approximately 16 years. He kept the car in a climate-controlledgarage under cover. This vehicle wasoriginally from the Fremont, CA factory and spent most of its years on the WestCoast and in Florida. Paperwork thatcame with the car has the VIN # starting with 01; however, the VIN pressed onthe car drops the 01. Additionally, partof the VIN is listed as 19646 – could this be 1964 #6 GTO? I also have the original bill sheet. The GTO hasbeen in numerous local car shows and has won numerous awards. With very little changes to the car from theday I purchased it (only detailing from a local detailer), the car won top 40at the Wildwood New Jersey Fall Car Classic Show (with over 700 cars inattendance). I also had the car in the GTOAA AnnualConcourse Show in Oaks, PA (2018). The car did very well in the judging after being reviewed for 50+ minutes. It earned a Bronze chip – considering most other cars were actually over restored. Since then, I’ve had the interior replaced, touched up the motor a bit, and had some items re-chromed. Last car show was at the Showboat Casino in Atlantic City, NJ and won the Mighty Muscle Award. This car also possesses the most beautiful black lacquer paint. It’s like a mirror andlaser straight. Perfect gaps.4 Micky Thompson tires w/rims go along with the vehicle. I replaced the Mikey Thompson's with original wheels. Not longago, a gold-chip GTO went across the auction block at Barrett Jackson and soldfor $127k. I have the paperwork from theGTOAA show indicating what upgrades need to be made to the vehicle to make it goldchip worthy. Most are very minor upgrades. With current economic status, I'm dealing with having to sell some things I love in order to survive. It is unfortunate for me, but can be a blessing for you. Be sure to check out all the photos in the listing. I may be pursuaded to also sell the 1967 Chevelle. Serious buyers only. Local delivery. Call with questions. 610-656-5073 (EDT)
