About this vehicle This 1972 Volkswagen Vanagon is a restored vehicle. The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle runs great and is not regularly driven. Seller's Notes I can help arrange shipping if you would not like to come and pick it up in person Exterior I'm selling this very rare 1972 factory flat van I recently took this to a shop to have a tune-up done and the guy they're informed me that this is a very rare van because it was sold original with the side door that opens up it's called a retail flat it has nothing inside it's just flat if you look at the picture of the VIN number there's two different dates the date of production in the vehicle and the date it had the conversion done therefore this was a factory original sales Van looking at the cutout for the side opening everything is done factory and it's very nicely done the gutters the rivets everything is done professional there were a lot of these bands in the 60s but not very many in the 70s this may be one of the very few survivors person I got it from had it fully restored about 5 years ago the engine was rebuilt it has new paint new tires the seats were recovered the van is driveable and in excellent condition I took it on the interstate it does 70 holds the road well and has plenty of power I was going to use this as advertisement for our store by putting a wrap on it but when I found out how rare it is an according to the shop worth between 40 or 50000 I decided to sell it instead of just putting a wrap on it and using it as a sign I'm sure some of you Volkswagen experts know what this is worth the guy I bought it from Lost the title but I know there's bonding companies that can get titles so that you can tag it if your state requires it for classic vehicles contact me with any questions or if you need any other pictures Interior Deposits are nonrefundable.
