| Very hard to find Special Edition 74 Love Bug. This was produced in limited quantity, and most you see out there are green, not "Red Hot Red" as VW called it. This is a pan-off nut and bolt restoration. Most of the car is original German parts. Original paint color with clearcoat was applied after blasting and priming. All new carpet, dash pad, insulation and door panels. Original glass except for new windshield. All new rubber throughout entire vehicle. Engine totally rebuilt with 80 miles on it, new brakes, clutch, master cylinder, steering box, shocks, brake lines and all hoses. New headliner and seat upholstery. All German trim in black. Essentially, everything has been restored or replaced on this vehicle. | |
