I've decided to sell my very early 64.5 Mustang. This could possibly be the oldest mustang in the state of Texas. Its a 1964.5 Mustang build on the 3rd day of production (March 11th, 1964). The mustang didn't even go on sale officially until April 17th! It was originally a Red on red 170 I6 3 spd manual trans car. This was the 600th mustang to be assigned a VIN number! It will take a lot of work to return the car to its original condition but this car deserves to be saved due to its link with early mustang history. Car will need new floors and will need front end work as it appears it was in a wreck some time back.Pictures don't show the hood but the car will come with the correct 64.5 hood. Shown in one of the pics is the correct Drivers side 64.5 headlight extension (has the beveled edge to clear the lip on the 64.5 hood). This extension (a $200 piece by itself) comes with the car. I have a large number of 64.5 mustang parts that can be negotiated separately if you want them (260v8 engine, early 4 spd Toploader manual, early 3 spd manual- for V8, 64.5 mustang horns, 64.5 mustang vent w/ "A" lettered knob, 64.5 power steering system for cars with or without A/C, underdash A/C unit, 64.5 radio, 64.5 instrument panel, etc.) Price is $2000 obo. I have clean title for the car. Local Pickup Only! If you have any questions or would like more pics, please ask! I'll be glad to help |
