Mechanical Our GTO is powered by an the standard GTO engine that was still the 400 cubic inch V8 with 8.2:1 compression ratio and horsepower was rated at 300 hp SAE gross at 4,800 rpm and torque at 400 lbâ‹…ft at 3,600 rpm. It looks factory stock with all the correct intake, carb, Pontiac blue painted block, twin-scoop factory air cleaner with the correct factory decals, and some accessories added like the long tube exhaust headers and chrome valve covers. The engine sits in a clean and factory looking engine compartment and it is backed by a Turbo GM automatic transmission, has Power Steering and Power Brakes and for 1971, the standard rear-end which is a10-bolt rear end. Interior The interior is all new and fresh and looks great with its twin bucket seats in matching colors as well as the rear bench seat, matching door panels, dash pad, and gold carpet.
