| This is a nice driving, nice looking 1972 chrome bumper Corvette. It has an excellent frame and a good body. The paint is weak and has chips, cracks and touch ups all over the car. All the gauges seem to work and the car runs, shifts and drives quite nice. The headlights come on, but do not want to come up. They are not stuck and will go up and down manually if you tug on them. The engine runs great and I believe it is a 327 from a 1962 Corvette, which is worth quite a bit of money if true. The casting and stamping are correct for that vintage. The car does have a New York assigned VIN# and the title matches the VIN, so it will never be a Bloomington Gold Car. There is a small set of flares on the body in the rear that is barely noticeable. If you are looking for a good running chrome bumper corvette for cheap money this may be the car for you. | |
