CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER | |
---|---|
This is car that has recently been refreshed. Including new gaskets and freeze plugs in the non rebuilt motor which has been painted Chevrolet orange. The engine compartment has also been painted black. New water pump, new hoses, rebuilt original radiator, new fuel pump, rebuilt starter and generator. New electronic ignition. New spark plugs and wires. Rebuilt original two barrel carburetor. Rebuilt transmission. The interior looks fresh with new seat covers and new carpet. Most of the replacement parts, when an original part could not be found, came from Danchuk to try and keep the originality of the car. There has been some rust repair on this car specifically the passenger floor pan and there is a section in the trunk that is needing repair but the shock towers are good. The car does drive and stop and the tires are period correct bias ply. There is even what looks like the original spare in the trunk. The radio turns on but doesn't receive a clear signal. I do have a newer built wonder bar radio that looks like an original that goes with the car just haven't installed it yet. The paint shows well and is I am told the original color scheme, however upon closer inspection there is a crack near the script in the fin on the drivers side and the car has most likely been repainted at some point. The trim is decent. The car does smoke and seeps oil some. I highly encourage any buyer to come see the car in person as it is sold as is. Ask any questions you like before the auction ends and I'll do my best to answer them honestly.I've had people bid on this car but not follow through. It can be frustrating. Look all you want but if your serious get in contact with me. |
