1964 Plymouth Valiant V200 Converible. Rebuilt 225 Super Slant Six motor. Rebuilt Push button Torqueflite transmission. Engine and transmission out of a 1973 Duster, with hardened valve seats. No more lead additive necessary. All the glass is good. Radiator recored 2 yrs ago. New alternator. Battery less that a yr old. Tires maybe 300 miles on them. All new brakes including a dual reservoir master cylinder and a new power brake booster. Interior redone a couple of years ago.. carpet, seats, new arm rests, etc. The horn needs the little switch on the steering wheel, I have the horn ring. No rips or tears in the top, it's about 8 yr old, and will have to be replaced eventually. Nice stereo. The odometer reads 75820, and this is the original mileage. Everything works, even the cigarette lighter. She's just a really nice example of an honest classic convertible. There's some rust, especially around the rear wheel wells ( I've got one replacement panel for the passenger side ). Some in the rockers and a little on the bottom of the doors. The floors are solid. She runs and drive great, and I'd take her anywhere. I'm the third owner, and I've had her for 14 yrs. I bought her from a gentlemen in Seattle Washington, who had her since the 60's. |
