CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
Up for auction is a Pro-touring style 1967 Mustang Fastback. The drivetrain, steering and suspension components are all new and top of the line performance parts. The car just reached the 500-mile break-in period for the drivetrain prior to storing for the winter. I purchased the vehicle in 2013. All of the sheet metal is solid. From what I can tell the driver’s side quarter panel has been replaced and everything else looks to be original. Car is currently candy apple red with some chips and light scratches but otherwise good condition. I have not touched the exterior of the vehicle other than the fiberglass hood that was required for the fitment of the new engine. The interior was also done prior to my purchase. The interior is clean and well maintained. Below is a list of all of the systems that have been replaced or modified. For a more detailed list I have invoices available upon request (Over $40,000 in parts receipts alone).Exterior: Maier Racing high-rise Shelby style hood withquik-latch hood pins (I also have the factory turn-signal hood). 17x9” torq-thrust wheels and nitto 555s245/45/17 tires front and back. Interior: replaced prior to purchase in 2013. Added a Painless wiring fuse panel with relays, push button start, new retro sound radio (with aux input), and billet antenna. Holley EFI Fuel Gauge, Speedometer, CAN bus LCD screen.Steering and Suspension:Front: Total cost involved independent front suspension with tubular control arms and late model mustang power rack and pinion steering. Rear: Three-link torque arm rear suspension with upgraded sway bar, subframe connectors, and a Currie 9” rear-end with 3.50 tru-track posi.Brakes: Front and Rear Wilwood 12” Slotted and Crossed drilled rotors, 4 piston calipers, Ni-Cop brake lines, AN fittings and stainless-steel hoses. Wilwood Brake and Clutch Pedal assembly with balance bar. The Pedal assembly/ Master Cylinder has been recessed into the fire wall for optimum fitment. (You will notice in the pictures that there are 3 reservoirs. A front brake, rear brake, and hydraulic clutch). The brakes have the feel of power brakes without the giant brake booster.Engine:The engine was built by a very reputable builder out of North Carolina called Prestige Motorsports. They specialize in ford stroker engines with fuel injection set-ups. They are all over social media if you would like to research the quality product that they put out. This engine is a 427 windsor that dyno’d out at 500hp and 500tq. It has a ton of upgrades as well please see invoice as there is too much to list. Fuel system is all Holley EFI from the tank to the block. Holley Terminator Stealth EFI with Holley EFI in tank fuel pump, pressure regulator, and new Holley fuel tank. All AN fittings. The ignition system is MSD including distributor, coil, and CD box. Engine is cooled by spal dual electric fans and radiator that are wired directly into holley ecu. After installation Prestige Motorsports tuned the engine remotely for the Holley Terminator. It runs flawlessly and fires up on coldstarts everytime. Transmission:The transmission kit came from a company called American powertrain. Again, very reputable and a quick google search will show you what they offer. It is a TKO-600 tremec transmission, with a quicktime bell housing, performance clutch and custom driveshaft. This car is an absolute blast to drive. The handling is incredible and there is absolutely more than enough power to do whatever you would like with it. It does not drive like a 50 year old car. The vehicle is available for inspection and stored on a 4 post lift which would make it easy to see how clean it is. I would encourage anyone to inspect the vehicle prior to purchase to ensure complete satisfaction. If a test drive is desired I would be happy to drive the vehicle with the potential buyer as a passenger. I have all of the receipts and documentation from the date of my purchase to current. I am selling the vehicle because I have another project waiting and I enjoy building the cars just as much as I enjoy driving them. If you look at the money spent and what it costs to buy a shell then you will see that you cannot build this car for what I am selling it for. **I am willing to work with shipping agencies at the buyer’s expense. I will need to have funds cleared prior to the release of the vehicle. Vehicle sold as is no warranty from me. Remaining warranties through parts manufacturers should carry over with warranty information included in invoices at request.
