Arguments have raged over what exactly the 442 meant. Some purists claim 4 Barrel, 4 Speed and Dual exhaust but there were plenty of automatic cars built. Regardless, this 442 meets the requirements of the purist. Per the VIN, it is a real 442 and not a cloned up Cutlass. Exterior.Finished in Maroon over White. This is an older restoration and the paint shows flaws upon close inspection. We consider her a “driver” quality car which is not to be confused with letter perfect meticulously restored show cars. There are small nicks and scratches typical to an older restoration There are small dents. She polishes up nicely but don't expect concours quality for a driver price please.
