BIG BLOCKCHEVROLET CORVETTE1971 Chevrolet Corvette “Big Block” backed by a M-21 4-Speed transmission. The ‘Vette started life as a factory LT-1 small block but had the current 1972 454 c.i. Chevy (2-bolt mains) casting # 3999289 added just over 10 years ago. Current owner purchased the car as you see it in 2012 with plans of making it a big block ‘clone’. Unfortunately, other projects took priority and the car has sat since. NO TRADES The interior has not been touched and it is not known if the gauges work or not. All of the glass is in good condition. The car was repainted in black (not known when) and it appears the original bonding strips are in place. L-88 style hood was added, NO LT-1 hood included. No cracking is apparent in the body and the frame is sold except for some surface scale. Additionally, the Corvette came with power steering, 4-wheel power disc brakes and power antenna. The “Data Plate” was custom made and does NOT reflect the original color and trim. ENGINE & TRANSMISSION 1972 454 c.i.
