| I am selling my 1965 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible. Being 70 years old, I think it's finally time to see someone new enjoy this car as my wife and I and the grand kids have. As is often the case with vintage cars, I’ve invested far more into this car than the “Buy it Now” price listed. The winner of this auction is getting a 442 that drives well with plenty of acceleration, yet is comfortable to drive with the power steering and all new upgraded suspension components. This 442 convertible draws compliments everywhere we go, is very dependable, and cannot be duplicated at this price. No disappointments here! Original numbers-matching 400 c.i. V8, original Jetaway automatic trans, very nice chrome and bright work, bucket seats with the factory console-mounted tach, power convertible top and rear window in like new condition, power windows, power antenna, remote side mirror, and all gauges work. Items added since the 10 year old restoration (with documentation) include: up graded speaker system, new 15-inch wheels and tires, new quick-ratio power steering box & pump, new front & rear coil springs & shocks, front& rear sway bars, new Pitman arm, recent front end alignment, and all work professionally completed (with a stack of receipts). Included are a set of 442 floor mats, spare tire and jack. Remaining to be sorted are: courtesy lights and the vacuum-operated trunk release (manually opens with key). This 442 Convertible turns heads and draws compliments everywhere we go. I'm located in California wine country. You could fly in and confidently drive this car home.
