Here is a nice, solid 1969 Mustang Grande’ coupe. Metuchen-built. This is a 3-owner, North Carolina car with all its original sheet metal and glass. It is an older restoration performed in the early 90's that has been a fun summer driver for our family. OEM parts were used whenever possible. Powertrain is the original 302/ C4 auto/ 8" rear end. Engine and transmission were professionally rebuilt at the time of restoration. I have no reason to doubt that this may be a numbers-matching vehicle. Synthetic Mobil 1 oil always used. Lightly optioned with PS, full wood-grained console, deluxe interior, courtesy lamps, non A/C and manual drum brakes. Original color and reproduced side stripes. Never wrecked. Well-cared for. Always garaged. Has less than 10K miles since restore. Vinyl top is excellent. Chrome, trim and glass is in very good condition. AM/FM Ford stereo with front/rear speakers. Deluxe black interior with Light Teak wood grain. The clean interior was restored some years ago and is still in excellent condition. The Hopsack fabric/vinyl seat covers used were specific to the Grande' and are in 'like new' condition as are the carpets, headliner and door panels . The original dash pad is in very good condition with some cracks in the usual center speaker grill. Pertronix ignition upgrade and quiet dual exhaust. Monte Carlo shock tower brace. New Motorcraft battery. Original Ford stainless spoke hubcaps. Older WW tires with much tread. The floor pans and rear quarters are solid. The under-carriage still shows its original in-tact undercoating. Runs well. NOTE: The power steering system is starting to leak and will need resealing. There is an underside rocker panel dent on the driver’s side with missing molding. No spare tire, but the original jack and lug wrench is included. The previous Meadowlark Yellow enamel paint job is flaking and starting to show its age. This would be a great "light" project needing some TLC to keep or flip, especially if you are looking for OEM originality. Get ready for summer cruising! Recent receipts and records are available.
