TIME CAPSULE 1934 3 WINDOW COUPE! This Coupe was built by Guy Boucher out of Maine in the late 70's. The Coupe has been hibernating in storage for 30+ years. This was well built Hot Rod back in the day and still shows and drives well today.BODYOriginal Ford 3 Window Coupe Body Chopped 4 1/2 inches in the front and 4 inches in the rear. Cowl vent still in place and working. Rear window rolls down, front windshield still rolls out. Original door latches and window regulators. Door handles and hinges in place with the top hinge removed after the chop. Original floor pans still in place, original fenders, hood and decklid.PAINTBlack lacquer that is checked in some areas (please see pics). Kelsey Martin flamed job shows really well, Kelsey is still building Hot Rods and is a member of the New Hampshire Hot Rod Hall of Fame. His flames have their own signature.CHASSIS Original 34 Frame with Pete & Jakes suspension components to include a 1957 Ford 9 inch rear end with full Chromed housing and Chromed Pete & Jakes ladder bars. Gus Boucher has stated that Pete Chapouris helped him set up the rear and suspension. Remember Pete & Jakes was a new company when this car was built. Front end is Pete & Jakes 4 bar set up with mustang steering box, 5 inch drop 46 inch wide axle with posies super low from spring. The front end has since been disassembled rebushed and new kingpins and repolished. It has the new SoCal narrow track chrome disc brake set up.ENGINE/TRANSMISSIONSmall block Chevy 400 cubic inch with chrome Sanderson headers, weiand intake and Edelbrock carb. Transmission is a Turbo 350 with rare hurst autostick shifter and polished transmission cooler. INTERIOR Untouched beautiful diamond tuck and roll in black vinyl. Chromed garnished moldings, full chromed dash with original gauges, ashtray and cigarette lighter. Sun and Stewart Warner accessory gauges. Stock style 34 seat that is mounted flat to the floor so you sit low in the car. Custom chromed steering column, throttle pedal, and brake pedal. Old superior 500 red metal flake steering wheel.WHEELS & TIRESRebel 16 inch x 8 inch trick 8's in the rear with diamond back 255/70-16 that have been smoothed inside and out. Rebel 15 inch x 4.5 inch in the front with diamond back 145/15 that have been shaved inside and out. The frame is painted metallic silver and has chromed rear brake drums and backing plates, chromed drive shaft with loop fully chromed rear end, and latter bars, and stainless dual exhaust.
