This Chevelle is well optioned with the Malibu package, Original 283 V8 4BBL, and 2-speed Powerglide automatic. Featuring Factory Air Conditioning, AM Radio, Power Brakes, Power Steering This 1966 Chevelle was well optioned! the Factory 4 Barrel L77 283 was rated at 220HP and features factory duel exhaust, with plenty of power for passing most mere excuses for cars. The dual exhaust helps define a nice muscle sound. Everything looks "factory", which is very cool indeed, mainly because this Malibu is highly original, having lived in North Texas for over 50 years. This leads to a very clean and solid car, with no signs of rust or rot, just a good solid straight texas car! Speaking of cool, its GM/Harrison system has been converted to use R134a refrigerant, which is a big plus for driving around when it's hot outside, or when it's super humid and one needs to dehumidified the air to keep the windows from fogging. The gorgeous Regal Red paint looks great and is just the right color for such a well-executed vintage Chevelle. Inside, the black interior is in very good condition, with vinyl front and rear bench having been redone to what original GM put out in 1966.
