This is a very nice, driver quality, get in it and have fun Ford Thunderbird. Equipped with a 292 correct engine, 3 speed manual trans, power windows, power seat and done in a very nice combination of red with a red and white interior. This is a sharp looking car, and is an early production car- number 501 from the first year of T-Bird production. This is a car that can be enjoyed just as it is. We did some brake work, added a choke to the carburetor, did a fluid change and insured the operation of lights, horn and other electrical components. The paint presents itself nicely as the photos show with a number of minor imperfections that can be found upon closer inspection. The chrome is quite tidy, as is the interior and the trunk area. The underside of the car features a solid frame and floors with some areas of the inner rockers showing age- nothing structural of concern just typical 50's car that has been undercoated. This T Bird does come with a hardtop that needs restoration- like most convertibles this one lives for sunny day use and who really needs the top anyways. If you have watched the mid 50's T Bird market you will realize that we have priced this car very aggressively in the market. There is plenty of room to enjoy this Bird just as she is or improve her to whatever level you desire. Drive it, show it, keep it in a bubble and polish it as a prized possession, the choice is yours once you make it yours.
