About this vehicleThis 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Classic is a modified vehicle with updates to the exterior and interior. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. This Cutlass Supreme has the same version of the Oldsmobile . V-8 that was installed in that model during the 1971 model year. Fed by a Rochester Quadrajet 4MC four-barrel carburetor, the Cutlass Supreme’s 350 was rated at 260 horsepower. The engine bay has been treated to some customization, with new crimson spark plug wires and a Holley paper-element air filter. Aftermarket headers and a custom dual exhaust system were also fitted to the car. The engine block and intake manifold still wear their correct shade of Oldsmobile gold paint, but areas of surface corrosion can be seen on the rocker covers and the power brake booster. The engine had 15,500 miles on it when it was the recipient of a full mechanical rebuild, according to the seller. The engine is said to start and idle normally, with no smoke and no leaks or weeps. The column-shifted Turbo Hydra-Matic 350 three-speed automatic is described as functioning properly, with no reported noises or other issues.Seller's NotesThis car is a beauty both inside and out.
