This Pony is pure eye-candy folks! Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, an avid car collector from here in St. George, Utah, purchased this car about six years ago right after it was completely restored to its current outstanding condition. This ’66 Mustang GT Convertible is LOADED w/ all of the desirable options that any collector or enthusiast will appreciate, including: 289ci A-Code 4V Motor, Toploader 4-Speed Transmission, GT Equipment & GT Badging, Accent Group, White Power Top, Pony Interior Décor Group, Power Steering, Ford-Aire Air Conditioning w/ Heater, AM Pushbutton Radio, Deluxe Seat Belts (Front & Rear), Tinted Windshield, 2-Speed Electric Wipers, Styled-Steel Wheels, Back-Up Lights, and Trunk Release Lever (rare!).Overall condition is simply outstanding throughout! The factory original sheet metal is super straight all of the way around the car, and the Candy Apple Red paint has been polished to an illustrious shine! All of the chrome & stainless trim is in excellent condition as well. The White Power Top is like new and in wonderful condition. She has a perfect stance, and sits on correct 14” Styled-Steel Wheels, wrapped w/ new radial tires (P205/75/R14). You can walk around this '66 Mustang GT Convertible a hundred times and she always looks amazing!Open the driver’s door and you will find a near flawless Red Pony interior that will instantly transport you back to 1966. Again, the red bucket seats, red door panels, red dashboard, red carpeting, etc., are in near flawless condition throughout, as are the woodgrain console, woodgrain dash insert, woodgrain glove box insert, and Woodgrain 3-spoke steering wheel. All of the gauges, lights, blinkers, AM radio, power top, etc., appear to be in perfect working condition, and the original Ford-Aire air conditioning unit blows nice & cold. Please look closely at the photos to see how lovely this interior really is. The trunk area is just about as nice as the interior w/ the correct trunk mat, spare tire w/ cover, and jack assembly.Pop open the hood and inside the beautifully detailed engine bay resides the original 289ci A-Code 4V motor lathered in Ford Blue, w/ a chrome dress-up kit (valve covers, air cleaner & oil cap), and correct hoses, clamps, windshield washer bag, etc. Everything is just so neat, tidy & nicely done. The 289ci A-Code motor is linked to the Toploader 4-speed transmission, which feeds power to the Ford 9” rear axle w/ 3.00 gears. She fires up instantly, settling into a nice smooth idle, and she runs, drives & performs beautifully in every way.
