| Toyota Land Cruiser . Condition is Used. I purchased this vehicle about 3 years ago with the sole purpose of turning it into a truck that could be used as a daily driver. I wanted a reliable, comfortable, and relatively quiet ride. My other 2 FJs, when finished, were reliable but not comfortable to drive for any distances. THIS ONE IS. To achieve my goal , the following was done to the FJ :1) Complete professional engine and clutch rebuild. 2) Power steering3) Four wheel disc brakes with new brake booster.4) Old man emu 2 inch suspension lift.5) Rear end rebuild6) New weber carb7) Four core aluminum radiator8) All tie rods were professionally replaced9) Professionally painted the original color10) New headliner11) Complete heater rebuild12)Pioneer radio installed in Tuffy console with 4 speakers.13) Bestop reclining seats, new upholstery on jump seats ( I still have original front seats but the frames would need to be reupholstered and the frames painted)14) New window felts, door cranks, and door levers15) Instrument cluster was removed and LED lights replaced original bulbs.This is a very nice looking truck that drives extremely well. I have literally put 100s of hours of labor into this truck getting it to this point. This truck should be reliable and comfortable to drive. Since the rebuild, I have put approximately 8,000 miles on the vehicle. If you purchase this truck, you should be getting an FJ that stops like a modern vehicle, steers like a modern SUV, and is probably the quietest FJ you have ever driven. | |
