| 1966 Ford Galaxie Convertible. Recent paint and bodywork..fenders, hood, trunk lid, etc removed any rusty areas were cut out and replaced with sheetmetal. Paint looks great but needs final cut and polish to really dazzle. Interior is good condition needs finishing touches. Dash cover needs replacing or recover (included is paintable cover designed to bond over top of existing dash). Also included are lots of trim, manuals, grill, etc. (see photos). Car starts and runs good but needs a thorough going through of mechanicals, brakes, etc. Power top works fine but fabric getting brittle and could use replacement. I am including a gasket getting for the top as well. Has been garage kept for last 10+ years so top rarely ever up. Southern car out of Atlanta area when I bought it...previous owner stated he rebuilt trans and engine but that has been 16+ years ago so my plan was to get expensive bodywork and paint completed then go through mechanicals and replace as needed as a rolling restoration. The Galaxie has been a fun weekend cruiser through the countryside but I have gone back on active duty Navy and pending duty station will make keeping Galaxie difficult so time to let her go.
