CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
1933 Ford 2 Door Street Rod Vicky. The car has just undergone a complete restoration and is almost finished. It was originally built in the early 90's but driven very little. I got the car a few years ago and decided to basically restore the car to new condition. It only lacks a few touches to be complete and show ready. It has A/C, power windows, power brakes, power steering, overdrive transmission and the list goes on and on. It is titled as a 1933 Ford 2-Door Sedan and I have a clear Tn title in hand.BodyThe body is an early production Classic Motor Carriages fiberglass body. These were very thick, durable and heavy bodies. It was fitted, blocked and painted in GM India Ivory in 2018. The belt-line was accented with a Candy Crimson and really goes well with the vintage white. The paint is gorgeous and makes the swooping body lines stand out. It has a few nicks and blemishes from being in the shop, but is in great shape overall. All of the weatherstripping and seals are all new.Drive-TrainThe engine is a Crate 350 Vortec with less than 20 miles on it. It was taken out of the crate, painted Candy Crimson and fitted with all Chrome/Polished accessories. All internals are brand new and bone stock. I wanted reliability and decided not to make any performance upgrades as the Vortec 350 has plenty of HP in it's stock form for the car. It has a polished Air-Gap intake, polished Demon Carburetor, polished air cleaner, polished valve covers, polished oil pan, billet pulleys with polished brackets, chrome alternator, chrome power steering pump and chrome brake components. The radiator is the original Walker radiator which has been polished to a high shine. The transmission is a stock rebuilt 700R4 overdrive transmission. The rear-end is an 8.8 Ford which has been rebuilt and narrowed to fit the wide wheels under the rear. The driveshaft was custom made and balanced by a local shop in Nashville.Steering/Suspension/BrakesThe front suspension is a Mustang II setup with power steering. The power rack, lines, fittings, and pump are all new. The steering shaft is Stainless DD with Stainless joints. The front springs, shocks, rotors and tie-rod ends are all new as well. The front suspension is a little stiff, but will likely soften up as the car is driven. I had planned to put coilovers on the front but never got around to it. It has new tubular upper and lower A-Arms on it that are designed to work with coil springs or coilover shocks. The rear suspension is stock Mustang GT with new springs and shocks. The brake system is a complete 4 wheel disc brake system and is all new with the exception of the front calipers. InteriorThe interior is all new from the Headliner to the Carpet. All custom work done by a local upholstery shop and it looks incredible! The dash features a billet gauge cluster with new (vintage looking) Dolphin Gauges complete with new sensors and fuel sending unit.. All gauges function just as they should. Kicker KMC 2 "gauge style" bluetooth radio with hidden antenna. Chrome tilt steering column. Billet aluminum A/C controls and headlight knob. Billet defrost vents and chrome dash vents. The entire interior is insulated with sound proof mat and encapsulated aircraft insulation for comfortable and quiet drives. The doors have Billet Specialties handles and are equipped with power windows and billet manual suicide door locks. All of the glass is fitted well and perfectly trimmed out with the upholstery. It has a brand new Vintage Air system that blows ice cold air and hot heat just as it should. MiscAll of the wiring was replaced with a Painless Wiring system, and all electronics and lights work just as they should. The wheels are brand new Ridler wheels with New Nitto tires. The car needs an alignment done, but I had planned on installing coilovers on it and was going to have it aligned then. I have driven the car on short runs and it starts, stops, runs and shifts just as it should. The car only needs minor touches to be 100% complete. I have just lost time and interest in the car, and can't really justify letting it sit in the garage. You can add up all of the parts and work put into the car and quickly realize that I have way more in the car than I am asking for it! I will assist with shipping the car if you choose to have it shipped, but all shipping costs are the buyers responsibility. Feel free to call or text me with any questions at 615-578-1000
