1964 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible with PB/PS/ and AC.Automatic 2 Speed283 C.I.Color: BlackThis car is a cruiser NOT a muscle car. May be the coolest thing on the road!I bought this car 19 months ago from from a dealer in Missouri who had acquired the car from the original owner of 47 years. The car had been immaculately restored prior to my purchase. Since I bought it has been inspected and serviced locally by Retired Rides in Pelham, AL (30 years of experience in automotive restoration). In their opinion (and every other car enthusiast I've encountered) the restoration of this car is top notch. Is it perfect? No, it is 56 years old but there are only minor imperfections (small scratch on back corner fender, screws missing on interior light plastic casing)I have driven the car about every 2 weeks since I got it and man, it is a conversation piece. Every stop light or parking lot I arrive at results in a thumbs up, pics, or conversation. There is something about the white wall tires, black paint, red dash, and white seats that just make this thing POP! When I saw her online I knew I found my car and I had it shipped to Birmingham, Alabama from Missouri. The car runs perfectly and has a power top for easy convertible driving. The AM radio works but there is also a more modern radio that allows for Bluetooth connection.I do not have an itemized documentation of the restoration of this car but if you look at the engine bay and the underside you will see no expense was spared and someone LOVED this car. The gas tank, exhaust, etc. are all pristine. Why am I selling? Two reasons: 1) I have a daughter about to turn 16 and she will need a car very soon. 2) I'm thinking of buying a new boat and Dad's toys have to stay at a minimum with 3 kids and what goes with that.. To be frank, I won't be disappointed if it doesn't sell and my kids are begging me not to.There is a loan on the car so transfer of title would come from that bank. Buyer would be responsible for shipping which must be done through an experienced, reputable, and bonded shipping company.I'm not a car dealer just a guy that fell in love with this car. Since the car 56 years old I'm not offering any return policy, warrantee, etc.. You are welcome to have the car evaluated prior to purchase. I drive by classic cars all the time here in Birmingham but for some reason this car just steals the show. I think its because it's just plain cool and its a cruiser not a loud roaring muscle car.
