| About this vehicle This 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Z-16 is an original. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle needs work and is not regularly driven. Seller's Notes This is a real Z-16 It was bought new by the famous drag racer Malcolm Durham from Hicks Chevrolet in Washington DC which is where he worked He was permitted to buy it based on his relationship with the factory He bought several extremely collectible cars new This was his street car and at some point he removed the motor and put it in his race car At that point another big block was installed and in 1966 Lustine Chevrolet installed air conditioning While it was driven there was a fender bender on the drivers side and during the repair the factory remote mirror was replace with a non stock mirror with only 800 characters allowed I cannot describe much more so contact me Exterior Interior Engine Deposits are nonrefundable.
