1977 Fiat X1/9. This unmolested example was put into storage in the early '90s because the smog equipment was removed and could not be registered in California. Fast forward to the early 2000s and the car was acquired by a Fiat parts specialist that replaced all the missing equipment and proceeded to make the car legal and road worthy again. It was subsequently sold and further improvements were undertaken including: The car has: While no 43 year old is perfect, this one is about as close as you will ever find. The car is rust-free and absolutely drives as new. The transaxle has ZERO issues like almost all early X1/9s do; no notchy shifting, no 2-3 shift or reverse shifting issues.
