The exciting 1929Essex Super Six offered here is a prime example. Essex was number three in sales in 1929 behind Ford and Chevrolet. Itwas superior in many ways. It blew all others away when it came to style,comfort, and originality. The interior was very modern for the day. The dashwas like none other. One feature no one else had was the louvered radiatorgrill. You could open and close it from the driver’s seat.The car offered here is all original; no bodywork, no rust, no paintwork.The patina can not be duplicated. It has aged beautifully over the years.If you look closely you will discover faint evidence of a hand-paintedpinstripe. It is 91 years old yet solid with zero body or suspension sag. Allcomponents fit correctly. The suicide doors open and close as new. The originalwood wheels are in excellent condition - so close to new condition. The widewhitewall tires have no rot and are in real good condition. All of the glass isin good condition, with no cracks or discoloration. All four windows open andclose as intended.
