Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon .Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon .Selling my 1976 VW Bus. We restored dthis bus besides fixing any dents and paint. The only paint that was redone on the outside was the roof mainly because someone painted it with a paint brush and it look horrible. I have over $19500 in receipts from Wagens West Slam Bay Kit to all the windows being new besides the rear window. Seals and gaskets have been replace with German rubber. The headliner and upholstery and windows was all performed by House Of Ghia in Salem OR. Had a small carburetor fire which you can see the paint damage in the last pic and House Of Ghia did the insurance work on that as well. We stripped the bus completely besides going through and replacing the wiring harness as the wiring all works well. We did update the fuse panel. Sanded the interior and painted it with rust stop first then went through with flat black then used hush mat through the entire bus. Its a very quiet bus inside. SO much more to list. I have 100's of pics and vids of the tear down and most of the work performed. The back seat is not original. We built a box with the amp and subs which is built very sturdy and sounds awesome. The back rest is made of three skateboards as the stock was a fold down bed and I wanted to have the sound not the bed. The rear window does not have the defrost hooked up the wire is cut. Has a tach but is not hooked up. The clear coat on the white paint on top of the bus needs to be wet sanded due to runs from the guy who painted it. The wiper motor is slow but they do work. The mileage shows 50362 and to be honest I have no idea what the actual mileage is. Ive owned the bus for about 5 years.
