OK I guess a desirable vehicle gets a lot of attention good and bad. This is the third and final time I will list. What I have learned. First of all an immediate 500.00 dollar non - refundable deposit is required to purchase this vehicle. So don't bid unless you intend on purchasing or you will lose 500. dollars. The price has been changed to a firm 60,000. No more no less. Don't contact me with counter offers or idiotic statements. I know the majority of people looking or bidding are not numbskulls but with my experience over the last few days these statements needed to be made. About the car. This car is an orig. #'s matching R/T it was special ordered in sept. of 1968 stripe delete triple black car inside outside and top ,power windows,powersteering, power brakes, cruise control. My dad purchased it in 1972. My brother and I traded it back and forth a couple of times over the years. The odometer reads approx. 82,000. miles. This is the orig. mileage. I began restoration 5 years ago . Complete body was stripped by hand small amount of sand blasting was done in crevises. The car had virtually no rust. Minor repair was done to drivers floor board. Trunk perfect,quarters perfect,frame rails perfect,rockers perfect , back window minor rust repaired. Under carriage was completely stripped primed,sealed,painted in ppg factory black then undercoated. It is show quality.Pictures don't allways show details but the body is exceptionally nice a good body man and painter could have this body done in a couple weeks or less. Engine compartment and door jambs were painted at the same time. K member was removed at the time this work was done and was stripped and re-painted at same time. New upper and lower ball joints installed,new a-arm bushings installed,new inner and outer tie rods installed,4 new shocks installed,4 new wheel cylinders installed, 5 brand new 14 inch firestone tires installed on 5 stock steele rims which were sandblasted and powder coated in black. 4 reconditioned stock style hubcaps awesome purchased. New headliner,new carpet,new vinyl top,new R/T emblems front and back , new Charger emblems , front back and sides, new windshield washer fluid container,new master cylinder and brake booster, new rubber brake lines front and rear installed.All brake lines were cleaned and clear coated and re-installed.Look like new. Front and rear bumpers were straightened and re-chromed along with the bumperettes. Engine and transmission have all been professionally rebuilt. The engine had to be bored 60 over so all new pistons and rods, new comp cam was installed,complete overhaul. Engine and trans .have not been installed or run as of yet. The only major items I have not purchased are new seat coverings and new door panels and the back window tray. I have the old panels and seats are still covered in their old material. The original center console had been stolen years ago, I do have a replacement in very good cond. but it will need to be painted as it is currently red. I will be painting and installing the engine transmission and driveshaft over the next couple of weeks and I will update photos as that work is completed. I will also re-install the seats , bumpers, rear decklid, and any other parts which will aid with shipping. I do have all parts some of which may need re-furbishing I.E. the radiator. I also have doubles and triples of some items all of which go with car. Also I have over 3500 dollars in paint and supplies which also go with car. All PPG products. As I stated in my earlier add If the buyer after paying the deposit and before the 7 day payment due period ends comes in person,not a buyer's agent and upon inspection of vehicle decides that this car is not as it has been represented I will refund full deposit and nullify the sales obligation no questions asked,again as I stated within time period allotted this applies only to actual person buying car. Full payment is due within 7 days of end of sale.Deposit is non-refundable. Vehicle and title will not leave the property until all funds have cleared fully. No Exceptions. Thanks for your time.
