It was called the GT-37 and was a performance variant of the T-37, equipped with a Muncie 3-speed floor shifter, the GTO's exhaust system, hood pins, rally wheels, and special badges and stripes. We have a 1970 white Pontiac GT-37 here at Skyway Classics that is a true Pontiac muscle car. Mechanical Our GT-37 was an option that had the performance of a GTO without the cost with its 350 cubic inch Pontiac engine. It is painted the correct shade of Pontiac blue paint on the engine block, has an aluminum intake and performance carb, chrome valve covers, performance fuel line and filter, high performance spark plug wires, power steering and brakes, air conditioning, and a 10-bolt rear end. This makes our GT-37 a car that could be ordered to be very fast, but at much lower price, and could be insured as a Tempest rather than a GTO. It also has a low-restriction dual exhaust with chrome splitter exhaust tips and, an automatic transmission with floor shift, raised-white-letter BF Goodrich radial TA tires and Cragar custom 5-spoke SS wheels. Interior Our Pontiac has a great blue twin bucket seat interior with matching rear seat, door panels, dash, carpet, and headliners. It has all the correct factory gauges as well as aftermarket ones to watch over all the engine functions, a wood steering wheel, Clarion Stereo radio system, remote mirrors, air conditioning, factory blue seat belts, and the great looking woodgrain dash. Exterior Our GT-37 has a great white paint job with great body lines, fitment, and finish with a GTO style dual snorkel hood, factory style red fender decals, body colored white painted front bumper, chrome rear bumper, chrome driver mirror, and GT-37 and 350 emblems on the side. Conclusion Pontiac used the phrase "There's a little GTO in every GT-37, and you don't have to be over 30 to afford it." That is so true with the 1970 white Pontiac GT-37 we have here at Skyway Classics. Come see this great Pontiac muscle car today. So give us a call at 941-254-6608.
