’73 Buick Centurion Convertible. This Buick was originally from Dallas, Texas where in the mid to late ‘90’s it was restored. The car was painted its original color, trim work redone, new carpet, new convertible top and cylinders, new A/C components, suspension rebuilt, lite engine work performed, differential and transmission rebuilt. Most of these were performed around 130,000 miles. The car now has 138,000 and still runs and drives very well. I have a large folder of receipts documenting all of this and more throughout the years. Since the restoration over 20 years ago the paint and body have began to show their age. The rear fender lips have lite rust (easily fixable) and the right rear fender has a parking lot ding (see pics). The interior could also use some refreshing, nothing major. The carpet has some stains and the front seat cover needs replacing. Otherwise, the restoration has held up well. Mechanically, the car is very sound. It starts, runs, and drives particularly good. Its dependable and nice to drive. I consider this car a great driver. You can get in it, put the top down, and enjoy. Its well equipped with the powerful 455 big block, A/C, power windows, power top, power steering, power disc brakes, body color hard parade boot, and more. We have priced this car to sell. Current and clear title ready to reassign ownership. |
