This 1956 Corvette is well on its way to being a great driver. It is Inca Silver over Venetian Red. It has a 1969 327 with fuelie heads and a four barrel carb, 4 speed Muncie wide ratio transmission, and 3.55 rear gears. The brakes are upgraded with a power dual master cylinder, proportioning valve, and a brand new 11" front disc brake conversion, and new rear shocks. It has a brand new fuel tank from Tanks Inc, new fuel lines, plugs, and wires. The car is running and driving. You will be able to drive it right onto your trailer or I can assist driving it into a transporter. The chassis is not wired and there is no interior. Those will be up to the buyer. I have a complete gauge set in good shape to go with the car, as seen in the photos. Everything you see is the photos is what you get. Some of the original trim is in good shape and other pieces need replacing. The car is most of the way there. It is ready for someone to finish it and make it a nice driver. There are a couple stress cracks in front of the rear wheel wells as well as one by the passenger side tail light. Unfortunately when I purchased this car a few years ago, the previous owner installed all of the body bolts except the rear most ones. I did not pick up on that, and while in the car hauler for a 15 hour ride, a couple stress cracks formed. They have not gotten any bigger, and I have since installed a new body mount kit in the whole car.The car is available to be inspected in person; however, please do not come to kick tires. I reserve the right to remove this auction at any time due to local sale. Title is in hand. Happy bidding. |
