RARE nowadays...1971 Ford Mustang Base with straight 6, 250 CDI engine. Original motor with 178K miles that has been in the family since '71. My uncle purchased it in 1971 in Greensboro, North Carolina and he passed it to my brother in 2005. My brother moved to Europe last year and left this car to me...I am not into old cars and I really tried to like it and keep for his sake, but it's not for me. I have two little boys and this car has no AC and no TV, like mama's van. :) My brother told me that these Mustangs with 250 6-cylinder engines have become rare and hard to find, due to people swapping them with big blocks. I have looked on eBay and I think he is right...correct me if I am wrong. My brother made sure the vehicle is safe and that it passed the state inspection because of his nephews. He drove it to Virginia Beach, VA from Kernersville, NC...which is a 4 1/2-hour drive. He replaced: New Tires, Belts, Spark Plugs, Voltage Actuator, Battery, Rebuilt Cylinder Head/Exhaust Manifold couple of years ago... a bunch of other things too.The driver door has been repainted by him...it's really an amateur job. His neighbor smashed the door with the quad and he had to get the new door... He was going to strip everything and paint the whole body and restore it from the ground up.If you have any questions or offers...I am willing to negotiate since I am a motivated, seller. |
