| Selling my 1973 Volkswagen Beetle. It is not perfect by any means, but is a good runner with lots of new parts. It would be a great project or toy that you could drive as you fixed it up/ customized to your taste or kept as is and just drove the heck outta of it. It has a 1600 dual port flat four with a single carb. Manual Transmission standard gearing. It has had the generator changed out for a alternator.The bug starts right up, runs well, idles nicely, doesnt smoke or make any bad noises. The GOOD: New tires 145/15 on the front and 205/15 on the rear8 spoke Empi wheelsNew brakes including front DISC Brake conversion.New brake master cylinder2" drop spindlesNew roof rackSpeaker shelf in back.New door panels.Solid floors even under the battery no rust in the pan at all. (I have a two post lift if you would like to inspect the underside).Comes with a brand new set of black seat upholstery (not installed).Current tags, clean title.Not so Good:Paint is a good 10 footer. Has a great shine but is obviously a older respray. It has plenty of chips or damaged areas (see pics) that have been touched up but still noticeable. The worst being the left front fender.Interior is decent, seats are good, back seat has a tear in the back (see pic).Carpet is good except behind back seat that you cant see.Headliner is terrible, no rips but heavily stained from the original glue and years of use. Interior does NOT smell bad , I dont smoke and neither did the previous owner.The only rust on the car that I can see is the back end of the rain gutters are starting to bubble in about a 3" strip mostly on the drivers side (see pics)****I just noticed as I was listing my car, there is a typo on the title the VIN stamped on the chassis is 1132386380 on the title it is 1132366380 obviously my bad handwriting at the time of purchase caused this. The title is clean and in my name with current tags good for a year. I will fill out a statement of facts if needed, get it notarized if needed or if your local I can even meet at a AAA.***I try to present the car as honestly as possible, warts and all.
