1955 Packard Patrician Sedan. Received a frame off restore around 15 years ago. Fully registered, insured, and 100% road worthy. Ready to roll. I take it out on occasion for a cruise.Excellent choice for an investor or someone who's looking for a wonderful cruiser and doesn't want to break the bank on a Cadillac or Chevy. Be unique, own a Packard! This Packard is equipped with the torsion level ride suspension. If you're not familiar with it, look it up on Google. Really ahead of it's time. This car is SUPER SMOOTH. Just floats down the road.Car belonged to my great uncle for many years. It was his pride and joy. He enjoyed cruising and visiting local car shows in it. He could tell you EVERYTHING about Packard. He gave me a trunk full of old articles and magazines with the car. I'll pass them on to the new owner if wanted.I purchased the car from my Uncle around 2 years ago. It sat in his garage for around 5 years before I bought it, so it did require some TLC.Here's what has been done professionally in the past 6 months:(4) new Coker white wall tiresAll new brakesNew brake master cylinderFuel tank removed, cleaned, sealedALL new fuel lines (from tank all the way to carb)All new fuel filtersNew mechanical fuel pumpAll new spark plugsNew wiresNew distributorNew coilNew heavy duty aftermarket starter (original starter included; has since received a fresh rebuild)New ignition (original included)New batteryNew battery cable(s) Other items worth noting: transmission was replaced with a new GM automatic at the time of the restore. Motor was also refreshed and is original to the car. The original spare tire is still in the trunk and is included. It's not useable, but impressive it's still there. Mileage is approximate and I doubt it has 20k since restore. All that being said, the car is not perfect. It has a dent on the passenger front fender. There is some cracking in the liquor paint near the trunk. The carpet and headliner could use a cleaning or just replace. There is some slight pitting in some of the chrome. The steering wheel wasn't restored so it does show some wear (factory original; not sure why it wasn't redone).I'm more than happy to Skype, Facetime to show the car. More than willing to accommodate. Tons of pictures available, just ask.Shipping is buyers responsibility. I'll assist in any way possible. Sold as is. Thanks! Also available is a 1947 Packard Clipper 4 door. Straight 6 motor, 3 speed on the column. ALL original. Runs and drives great, and is very solid, but needs some cosmetics. It's in the shop getting new brakes. Asking $7900 /offer for that one. |
