Vehicle Information Video Description Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this attractive and good driving early 240Z showing a build date of July, 1971. This Datsun was just purchased from the state of Texas from it's previous owner who spent a fair amount of money on the car over the years with lots of receipts/documentation for the labor. Please see the list attached in the photo images.This car is finished in a late model Cadillac color which appears to be a mix of a few of the 260Z colors. (We believe it left the factory in the desirable and striking Monte Carlo Red with a black interior). The current paintwork looks quite nice and suits the car well. The body on this car looks very straight with nice panel gaps all the way around, with no evidence of previous accidents. There are a few chips here and there from use, and a few very minor paint bubbles of low concern. Close inspection underneath shows a few minor corrosion spots only isolated to the driver's floorboard for easy repair, on an otherwise nice, solid, very original floor and undercarriage. The windshield is newer with nice rubber. The other glass items are the original. The car's interior trim has been restored at one point including carpets, seats. The car has a very nice dash cap installed with the right grain and look. The headliner, visors, front kick panels and door cards all look original and in decent shape. It's missing it's radio. The steering is the original and looks to be in good condition.Mechanically, the car's matching numbers L-24 engine feels well-tuned and runs strong with no smoke or noises, great oil pressure, cool water temperature, and revs hard. The gearbox, clutch feel nice. The car has had it's suspension previously completely rebushed and feels excellent, confident, and well sprung going down the road. It's a very fun car to push hard, making all of the right sounds.
