Up for your consideration is a great example of a classic 1963 Plymouth Savoy Max-Wedge 2-door post sedan. No expense spared in this build. It is finished in beautiful white paint with deep, rich interior. It has the correct cross-ram intake manifold made by AA Performance. It has 2 Edelbrock 500 CFM carbs. Now equiped with close chamber 915 heads with large stainless valves. For a cam shaft, we chose Comp. cams, solid lifter roller cam and rocker assembly. We used a 1969 forged steel crank 440 bottom –end with all the good stuff.Way too much to list. Please call for complete specs. As to the transmission, we went with the Richmond 6-speed manual, Top of the line with Hurst 6-speed linkage. Nothing but the best. A forged-steel scatter shield and centerforce clutch and fly-wheel were also included. We also installed a brand new balanced drive-shaft. The rear-axle assembly was ordered from Strange Engineering and is a 4:10 Dana 60. We included 4 brand new heavy –duty shock absorbers at all 4 corners. We also added 2 Superstock rear-leaf spring assemblies. All suspension pieces from the front to the rear of the car are new. Again, please call for details. As to the exhaust system, we used headers by Doug with 2 inch primary tubes that go into 3 ½ inch collectors, then into a 3 inch system all the way to the rear bumper. This is the ultimate version of a Max Wedge car !! The battery is a rear- mount Interstate 8 XD bus battery. This was used for its heavy weight and ballast. It also has 1100 amps of cold cranking power. Again, all new parts used on the build. A new factory gas tank was also installed along with a new sending unit. We used a new Carter electronic fuel pump and all new fuel lines. As to the cooling system, all fresh copper and brass radiators were used along with new hoses and new water pump. The chrome and the stainless trim are in mint condition all the way around. As to the over-all condition of the vehicle, it speaks for itself.
