| 1968 Chevrolet C10 1/2 Ton Short Bed Step Side Pick Up You are viewing a very nice fully restored custom truck. The truck was built to drive and enjoy. The build was finished in 2014 with 1K miles since finished. Please read on for more particulars of the truck: Body/Paint: The body is in great condition with all rust issues addressed when off frame. The paint is Fire Mist Maroon base/clear. The paint is good driver quality and shows nicely. Steel cowl hood and rear roll pan. The bed is oak with polished bed rails, brushed aluminum bed sides. Custom gate and filled bed holes. Fuel tank is relocated to under bed. All new weather stripping. Interior: Very nice and clean looking interior using factory late model Chevrolet pickup seats. They fit very nicely in the truck. PS, PB. Flaming River polished tilt steering column. Gauge package, in dash factory tachometer and original factory AC truck now with Vintage Air and stock controls for the heat and AC. Stereo radio and CD player with good speakers on each rear corner of the cab. Grant steering wheel. Running Gear: The engine is a 69 Camaro 327 bored to 331 ci. Rebuilt with hi performance components. 69 GM 202 angle plug service heads, Crane can/272 duration/468 lift, roller rockers, zoom timing gears, HD oil pump, forged pistons, swirl top undercut valves with screw in studs, guide plates and roller rockers, aluminum intake manifold with Edlebrock carb, HEI distributor and underdrive aluminum serpentine pulleys. Aluminum water pump and 4 row aluminum radiator. Transmission is a rebuilt TH 400 with shift kit and 2000 stall converter and deep sump pan. POL transmission cross member. The rear end is stock to the truck. Suspension: CCP 3 inch drop spindles with one inch drop on coils on the front, HD sway bar. Shock relocation kit front and back. Tubular upper A arms and rebuild kit. CCP 5 inch lower rear springs with adjustable pan hard bar. Bright work: Replaced or restored. Glass: Tinted original with replaced windshield. Exhaust: Headers with 2.5 inch pipes with Flow Masters. The trucks sound incredible. Brakes: 4 wheel power disc brakes. Wheels/Tires: American Classics 5 spoke gray center wheels with caps. Radials 255/60 15 front and 275/60 15 rears. Summary: The truck represents a solid great driver with performance. Great running and driving truck.
