| Up for auction is a 1969 Mustang Mach1 428 Cobra Jet "Q" code car, C6 auto, ps, pb with a 9" posi rear. I bought the car in March of this year, but due to the shutdown I was not able to send off for a new title until 2 weeks ago. The DMV has verified the Vin # and has passed inspection and a new title has been applied for. So what I have is a complete 51 year old mostly unrestored car with a very solid underneath with good body panels with no rust that I can find. It has been painted before, but it needs a good buffing / detailing. Interior is original. Lights, dash gauges all seem to be in working order, except for the clock. Brakes are bad, you have to pump up the brakes several times to get a good pedal to stop. I have not driven the car except for loading it on and off the trailer from being towed, the car has been setting in storage since March. My intent was to go through the car this summer and replace or fix whatever was needed, but my priorities have shifted since and I have decided to sell. Please feel free to ask any questions! | |
