CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER | |
---|---|
This car was parked 20+ years ago after the fuel pump went out. It is missing the windshield, fuel pump, various pieces of trim, etc. It still has many good parts and a free turning motor with the desirable floor shift transmission. The headlights are 3 Hella and one Bosch halogen headlight with good surrounds. Much of the sheet metal is rusted through. The hood, doors, and trunk lid are fair with mostly surface rust. I have some 230sl parts (wheel, new rubber, and a few odds and ends) and a full set of nice red door panels and dash trim for a 110 fin car I will throw in for the winning bidder if interested in those. The car was fitted with a new alternator shortly before being parked. I also have a complete original air conditioning set up that came off a 280se 6cyl. car I will throw in as well (compressor, condensor, fan, etc.) which came off a running driving car with working air. Also included is a partial very restorable set of zebrano wood and door caps removed from a 1970 300sel 6.3, Some 190sl parts (bumper brackets, door hard wear, fan, jack) and miscellaneous other parts from various models from the 60s and 70s. Also there is a collection of workshop and tech manuals which cover these cars as well. I am slowly retiring from the restoration business and this is a collection of parts I have accumulated through the years. Someone with time on their hands could make several thousands selling these parts individually. The car must be picked up within 30 days after the auction close. A $200 non refundable deposit is required via PayPal within 48 hours of the closing bid with the balance due within 7 days. Thank you for your interest. |
