All numbers matching, engine, transmission, differential, carburetor, distributor, even the entire exhaust system. Vin verified as a W72 and WS6 vehicle. This Trans Am retains ALL of its original equipment, from the original space saver spare with gas charged cylinder to fill it, to the original floor mats, even the original routing of all vacuum lines and emissions equipment. Everything is as delivered from the factory. It is incredibly rare to find a Trans am that is unmolested and unmodified. The entire underneath and drivetrain of this vehicle is immaculate. This vehicle runs and drives exactly as it should, plenty of power, smooth shifting, great handling and brakes. This was a top performer in 1979, and has been meticulously maintained. The car does have dings, dents and scratches, however it has never had any patch panels or bondo applied to it, what you see is exactly what you get. W72 Performance package includes, Pontiac 400, with 350 heads for more compression, Super T10 4 speed transmission, Specifically calibrated Rochester Quadrajet and HEI Distributor, Specific dual resonator exhaust system with single catalytic converter. WS6 Suspension package includes, Quick Ratio steering gearbox, Larger front and rear sway bar with stiffer bushings, Wider Aluminum Snowflake wheels, Specific rate springs and shocks, and most importantly 4 wheel disc brake, posi rear end! Optional Features include, Power windows and Power locks, Air conditioning, Optional Stereo Cassette AM/FM Radio, and Electronic glove box trunk release.
