CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
You are bidding on what may be the last, mostly original 1 family owned Buick Roadmaster Convertible left in the world. It was the most expensive Buick you could buy and they built 572,024 Buicks that year but only 4354 Roadmaster convertibles which is less than 1% of Buicks total build qualifying it for collector car status plus, how many are left ? One family owned (signed affidavit comes with it), purchased by their grandfather an Indiana Judge for 42 years and loved by the family ever since. Mostly original Carlsbad black paint (electronically metered for authenticity see pic) and correct "A" code denoting it was originally a black car from the factory on the cowl tag, it looks pretty amazing. The interior is the optional black and Ivory leather (correct code 730) befitting the Buicks most expensive car in 1956 and looks pretty incredible. Its not often you find these convertibles in this condition intact including the original chrome and factory undercoated undercarriage. This beautiful roadmaster hasn't really had a restoration and is super original which could be enhancing its value. Please keep in mind ts a 60 plus year old car and isnt brand new and will need some restoration when you're ready but its not priced that way either. Its just had a $10,000 mechanical restoration including the engine and transmission have just been resealed. Lets run down the options and standard equipment on whats considered to be a collector car according to Hagerty's collector car and NADA.In closing this car drives as great as it looks, imagine taking the kids, another couple or grandkids out in this to dinner it becomes a very different evening. These fully restored are now selling for $130,000 plus so it seems to be the right car to invest in. I can send you a walk around and test drive video If you need that too. Thanks for looking and I hope you win it !Now for the legal:Good luck and good bidding, this is an auction to win and pay for the car not to win to come look at it. We encourage you to come see it as it drives beautifully, please have the approval of financing and or any other decision makers before placing a bid. I can help with directing you to low rate classic car financing If you need it too as well.
