1952 GMC Truck 5 Window Cab 1 Ton Dually. Originally this truck was ordered as a stakebed truck. Has the factory front bumper of the regular series GMC trucks as well as the smaller factory supplied Dually wheels compared to the much larger Ton and a half Dually Wheels. The one ton GMC stakebed trucks sat much lower to the ground than the GMC Ton and a half trucks. Sits about the same height as the green International 3/4 Ton truck sitting next to it. (See pictures.) Engine replaced with later Chevrolet engine. Truck drove when last used many years ago. Does NOT run and drive now. WILL HAVE TO BE TRAILERED TO GET IT HOME. Originally a field service cable truck for International Telephone and Telegraph Company during the Korean War. No pictures of under hood (could not get the latch to work) but check out my feedback on eBay to see that you can trust me when I say everything is there. Extension at rear of truck is bolt on only (not welded). Frame is NOT modified in any way from original GMC design. I can unbolt and remove the rear cable laying extension from truck before the truck is shipped. Will assist in what way I can in helping to load vehicle but it is the buyer’s responsibility to arrange for and payment of any and all shipping needs. Original GMC i.d. Plate still attached to cab and is in great condition. This vehicle is being sold with bill of Sale ONLY. No title. Please, please, please do not bid if you do not, cannot or will not follow through on this auction. I can store vehicle for free for up to 90 days after close of auction date to give plenty of time for transport of this vehicle. Call me at 971-998-3530 if you have any additional questions. |
