| About this vehicle This 1968 Pontiac Tempest is a modified vehicle with updates to the interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller's Notes This 1968 Pontiac Tempest is a great daily driver. This was my project with my dad and we have gotten to the point where it runs and drives perfect and all that is left to do is the interior and some paint work. The drivetrain was originally a 350 with a column shifter and was swapped with a built 400 and drag 3 speed transmission (which we dialed back to be a daily driver) the inside was modified to find the floor shifter. It has a couple dents and some rust spots but it is a 50 year old car. It has the original license plate and I still have the original Owners manual with it. This car comes with spare parts that I was given with the car as well. Exterior Exterior has a dent on the front right fender, and a couple on the hood. It has a couple rust spots near the rear window and one small on the roof. Other than that it is in great condition. Interior Interior needs the most work, it has all the pieces but could use some love making it back the way it came from factory. Due to the transmission swap from the previous owner it has a his and her shifter and two bucket style seats instead of the original column shifter and the front bench. It still has the original bench seat in good condition. The rear speakers are brand new same with the radio, the front speakers work but can use a replacing. The last thing is the wiring under the dash, the dash itself could use a lot of work. Created on the eBay Motors app | |
