| Chevrolet Corvair . Condition is Used. This Corsa was originally built and sold in calif. Later purchased and spent its life in Texas, so no rust. I also purchased a 65 Corsa Turbo car that was to far gone with rust . I had the Turbo motor completely rebuilt and all of the suspension redone when I found this car in Texas. The motor was bad but the body was perfect. I put the turbo motor in it, and it ran good but, a valve seat dropped and ruined one head. I didn't think the turbo performed as good as other 4 carb setups so I replaced the heads and put the new carb setup on it which really made it go. The engine has no oil leaks, skips, charging issues it goes good. I have repainted it the blue you see, no body fill , damage, or rust. I also put a new top and interior. It shifts nice new clutch pressure plate. Brakes are new and really work well for being drum. The car goes really well and is fast and fun to drive. All the parts include the complete turbo set up less the one head, rebuilt front suspension, trailing arms, springs etc. I have to sell as I have moved to Florida and sold my home here in NYS. As far as shipping I hade the other junk turbo car shipped from Texas which cost me 800.00 This car needs nothing except a good home. I will entertain reasonable offers. | |
