Here at Sunnyside Sports, Classic and Muscle (and maybe Indian) we sure love our Indian motorcycles. We really love the full skirted bikes from the 40's and early 50's and are happy to have them around. Sometimes it's a pleasure just to sit and stare at the beautiful lines- they are, in our opinion, one of the most beautiful bikes ever built. At this time, we are proud to have 3 1940's Chiefs around. We refer to them as our two show horses and our one war horse. The bike you are currently looking at is a gorgeous 1948 Chief we call the War Horse! She's out of long-term father to son ownership our of Massachusetts and has been untouched by us for those of you who love that patinaed beauty of a bike that has seen and done it all faithfully for years. We have an actual mileage title showing 13K miles from 1999 and today we are showing a bike with 18114 original miles. The War Horse has matching numbers and is ready for more years of faithful service. Look at the great features, spot lights, saddle bags, crash bars, chummy seat and just smile knowing the history is there and is good. If you are a shiny paint person and prefer new slippers instead of the well-worn ones no worries just check out our other two frame-off show horse bikes.
